This is a good product, however when I installed I was a little disappointed since it does not detect all the streets and most popular places in Mexico, it is a good product though, I recommend it if you live in Mexico and need a GPS for your car

Well I bought this map for my 60CSX and found out that it does have a lot of detail of very small cities such as Poza Rica, where I'm actually located. It has not only the Poza Rica's streets but as well as the cities that soround poza rica like Coatzintla, which happen to be very small towns.
Includes Tampico very very well as well. I recommend this.
I also own a TOMTOM' and it doesnt cover's poza rica, so I would recommend this one if you dont live in MEXICO City, Monterrey or Guadalajara.

I can't believe Garmin sells this product in good conscience. It was horrible. It didn't even know we were on the road half of the time. It doesn't know anything about the toll roads, couldn't find addresses, didn't know what exits to take, etc. Essentially we were lost all the time. We had a Mexico map hoping the Garmin would fill in the gaps. But what you really need is a good detailed atlas of the country because the Garmin is not worth the cost. It probably hasn't been updated in years and never should have been sold so incomplete anyway. I know roads change all the time but this map didn't know anything. Even in major cities. It couldn't tell me how to get from Mexico City to Cuernavaca, two of the biggest cities in Mexico with pretty established road systems. We used a Garmin map in Ireland and it knew what exits to take, how to find addresses, even which lane to be in. This map did none of that. DO NOT BUY THIS!

I traveled in northern Baja. I found some roads missing. The POI's in this area are virtually absent. In San Felipe, about 100 miles south of the border, the closest POI's of any sort were across the border in the US. I don't think it is worth the money.

The item is Garmin Navigator for Mexico. It does OK in Guadalajara but in the countryside where I live, not so hot. For example, it tells me the nearest gas station is 12 miles towards the airport when there are 3 within a couple of miles of my house. Also, the voice announcements have the most preposterous accent I have ever heard. No attempt to get accents in the right place so that Chapala sounds like Chápala, which is all but unrecognizable. Also pronounces j as in English. It will get a better accuracy test in a couple of weeks when I head to the border (US) for a visit with family and friends.
